Drivers encountered a surprising sight on the Bursa – Istanbul highway after the holiday. A brown bear lying motionless on the side of the road caused a shock to the surrounding area. When a truck driver noticed the situation and approached the bear with curiosity, he unfortunately saw that the animal had lost its life.
The incident took place on the Istanbul road in Ovaakça District of the Central Osmangazi district. The truck driver, who was driving, noticed the bear lying on the side of the road and stopped his vehicle. When the driver approached the bear and saw that the animal did not react, he immediately reported the situation to the relevant teams.
The teams are evaluating a possible traffic accident as the cause of the bear’s death. While this incident was found on the roadside, caused confusion among drivers, the authorities’ investigations are continuing.
