The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country due to the recently increasing border tension between Hezbollah and Israel. The Ministry noted the seriousness of the security situation in the region and warned its citizens not to travel to Lebanon.
In the official statement published by the ministry, the following was stated: “The Kuwaiti government calls on its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country due to security concerns. It is strongly recommended not to travel to Lebanon unless there is an emergency.”
The statement also stated that Kuwaiti citizens in Lebanon who can leave the country should take immediate action and contact the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Lebanon for the necessary assistance.
