Citizens who spent the Eid al-Adha holiday by swimming in the sea had a pleasant time on the unique beaches of Hatay. However, when the holidaymakers left, the garbage they left behind prompted the cleaning teams to take action. Hatay Metropolitan Municipality and Arsuz Municipality teams are working meticulously to collect garbage on the beaches.

Emphasizing the importance of environmental awareness in cleaning the garbage left by holidaymakers, 25-year-old Yusuf Demir said, “We must be aware of our responsibilities towards nature. Everyone needs to be sensitive for a clean environment. I appreciate the cleaning work carried out out by the municipality. During the time I spent on the beach, I observed the efforts of the teams to collect garbage. Such “With these activities, steps are being taken for a cleaner world.”
