Person Wanted for Murder Crime Caught
As part of the work carried out by police teams in Samsun, a person who was wanted for murder and had a fixed prison sentence was caught. The teams found that the man, who was wanted for murder and sentenced to 3 years and 1 month in prison, was hiding in a residence. As a result of the operation carried out with the support of special operations police, the person was caught and detained and sent to prison after being processed at the police station.
Information Studies in the Fight against Drugs
The SLEEP application and NARVAS project were introduced in İlkadım and Tekkeköy districts within the scope of the fight against drugs by the Provincial Police Department Narco Guide officers. While 1,450 citizens were informed, prepared brochures were distributed. These studies aimed to raise awareness in the fight against drugs.
Smuggled Products Seized
Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams captured 3,200 filled tubes, 11 hookah flavors and 10 electronic cigarettes during a search at a workplace in İlkadım district. Legal proceedings were initiated against 2 people regarding the criminal elements.
