Knight Island, one of the favorite tourist spots of Fethiye, is flooded with visitors during the summer season. However, the island’s lack of access from the coast and the risk of fire increases with population growth. For this reason, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade teams organize fire prevention and intervention training on the island.
Training Content and Participants
Historical Knight Island, which has 70 buildings, accommodation facilities, restaurants and beaches on an area of 23 hectares, must be prepared for fire danger.
