Penal action was taken by Istanbul Provincial Police Department Traffic Branch Directorate teams against the driver who caused disturbance to the environment by installing a siren on his vehicle in Beylikdüzü district. The driver attracted attention with the images he shared on his social media account, and this attracted the attention of the police teams.
As a result of the investigation carried out by the teams, the suspect who had a siren installed in his vehicle and whose identity was identified was taken into custody. The suspect named RDB was fined 6,439 liras for ‘installing and using light or sound devices on vehicles that are not permitted by legislation’.
After interrogation by the police units, the siren system was removed from the suspect’s vehicle in case a siren was installed on a vehicle that did not have right of way. It is reminding that such practices pose serious dangers to traffic safety and are prohibited by law.
