The fire started in the agricultural area in Kılçadır village. Village residents noticed the rapidly growing fire and reported the situation to the Provincial Directorate of Forestry Directorate teams. Forest management teams dispatched to the region and Bingöl and Genç municipality fire teams intervened in the fire.
The fire was intervened with 2 sprinklers, 2 first response vehicles, 4 fire trucks, 2 water tankers, 1 grader, 1 loader and 25 personnel. As a result of the intensive efforts of the teams, the fire was taken under control and extinguished.

After the fire lost its effect, teams continue their cooling efforts in the region. Investigation and evaluation studies regarding the fire, which damaged approximately 100 decares of land, are continuing.
