In the incident that took place in Sancaktepe’s Fatih District, a person named Haydar Erdoğan, after having an argument with his wife at home in the evening, went to the forest area for an unknown reason and committed suicide with a rope he tied to a tree .
Teams were dispatched to the scene upon notice
A couple who saw the body in the forest immediately informed the police. Police and medical teams arrived at the scene, examined the situation and informed the person’s family. Haydar Erdoğan’s wife emotionally responded to him at the scene, saying, “Shame on you, you ended my life.”
Neighborhood Resident Witnessed
Orhan Kaya, one of the residents of the neighborhood, described the incident as follows: “We were sitting, when we saw the squad cars and the fire department arrived. We went out to see if anything had happened. They said the man had hanged himself.”
