Economic Cooperation with Turkmenistan and Current Developments
According to information received from diplomatic sources, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the signing of new agreements aimed at deepening economic cooperation between the two countries during his meeting with Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov.
Evaluation of Collaboration Opportunities
During the meeting, a trade volume target of $5 billion was set with Turkmenistan. Mutual views were exchanged on how this target could be increased. In addition, steps to be taken to further facilitate transportation were discussed.
