The Palestinian Presidency announced a tragic incident that occurred in northern Gaza. According to the statement, an elderly Palestinian father, Mohammed Abu AlQumsan, who was forced to leave his home due to the effects of the war, lost his wife and newborn twins when he was only four days old in an indiscriminate Israeli airstrike on Gaza. When the father went out to get his children’s birth certificates, he came back to find a painful truth: both his children and his wife had lost their lives.
“End This Complication”
Former First Minister of Scotland Hamza Yusuf said: “Our children will ask how we allowed such a massacre to happen so clearly. How will we respond to them? What crime did the four-day-old twins commit? Were they also part of Hamas “What sanctions will be imposed on Israel? It is deeply saddening that some people still choose to remain silent in the face of this inhumane act.”
Zarah Sultana, a Labor MP, said: “The UK government continues to export arms to Israel, despite overwhelming evidence that Israel is committing war crimes. End this complicity immediately. Suspend all arms sales immediately.”
Another Labor MP, Richard Burgon, said: “This is absolutely appalling. Israel continues to commit war crimes day after day. UK arms sales to Israel must end immediately.”
