Support for Palestine at the Sarajevo Film Festival
The Sarajevo Film Festival (SFF), which continues at the Sarajevo National Theatre, came to the fore with a remarkable event this year. Many participants walking on the festival’s red carpet protested Israel’s attacks on Palestine in order to support Palestine. The artists walking on the red carpet participated with various symbols to show their important stance.

- Others showed their solidarity by wearing clothes in the colors of the Palestinian flag.
- In addition, some artists emphasized that they support this struggle by wearing keffiyeh on the red carpet.
The festival is organized to remember the pain caused by the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1992 and 1995 and to make the capital Sarajevo one of the important centers where culture and art are discussed again. This year, more than 250 films from around the world will meet the audience.
