Hamas Responds to Israeli Attack
Hamas strongly condemned the Israeli army’s attack on the Salahuddin School, a shelter for displaced civilians in western Gaza City, in a written statement. The statement said the attack was “an extension of the genocide against Palestinians” and described it as “savagery”.
It was noted that Israel’s deliberate targeting of areas where civilians are taking refugee is a violation of international law. Hamas called on the international community to take urgent action to stop such crimes by Israel and to end the ongoing violations against defenseless civilians.
As a result of the attack, 2 Palestinians lost their lives and 15 people, 10 of whom were children, were injured. This incident deepened the humanitarian crisis in the region, and it was emphasized that the international community should play a more active role in ensuring the safety of civilians.
