March for Gaza from the Free Aksa Trabzon Platform

The Free Aksa Trabzon Platform continues to draw attention to the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza with a march it organizes every Wednesday after the afternoon prayer. This week, the march gathered in front of the İskenderpaşa Mosque in the Ortahisar district.

The group, carrying Turkish and Palestinian flags, marched along Kahramanmaraş Street to the Ziraat Bank, chanting slogans. Speaking on behalf of the group, Kadir Bekar stated that they felt the deep pain of the inhumane genocide in Gaza.

We Stand With the People of Gaza!

Stating that they stand with the people of Gaza, Bekar said:

  • “We will continue to be the voice of the resistance in Gaza, to give moral support to our brothers and to shout that they are not alone.”
  • “We will continue to be the voice of a handful of innocent people by gathering in these squares.”
  • “We are here to show that we stand with our brothers, our children and all the oppressed in Gaza.”
  • “We feel their pain and share their struggle.”

Bekar emphasized that they filled the streets, squares and avenues to be the voice of the children in Gaza and to keep their hopes alive. He also drew attention to the need to increase boycotts,

“We will implement a more determined boycott than ever of Israeli goods and their supporters.”

He stated. The Bachelor expressed his feelings and thoughts with the following words:

  • “We will do everything in our power to ensure that no child and no parent sees suffering.”
  • “The cry of the children of Gaza will echo with our boycott.”
  • “We will continue this boycott until the end for justice, for humanity, for our future.”

The march ended with a prayer. Participants came together in this meaningful event and shared the spiritual burden of supporting their brothers in Gaza.
