Israeli Attacks on Qalqilya’s Cit Village
Eyewitnesses who spoke to AA reported the attack on the village of Cit in Qalqilya by a large group of Israelis who had usurped Palestinian lands. The attackers reportedly opened fire on the villagers with live ammunition, threw stones at houses and set fire to many Palestinian houses and vehicles.
According to witness accounts, the Israeli army provided protection to these aggressive Jewish settlers, while also preventing civil defense vehicles from entering the village. During the incidents, it was reported that the Jewish settlers set fire to 4 houses and 6 vehicles belonging to Palestinians, and threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the villagers.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that one Palestinian was martyred as a result of Israeli fire with live ammunition, while another Palestinian was seriously wounded in the chest and was taken to a state hospital in Nablus.
On the other hand, since Israel launched its offensive on the Gaza Strip on October 7, there has been a significant increase in detentions, raids and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
