Mayor Tanglay stated that Bitlis, which has hosted many civilizations, has not been promoted enough, and said, “Our province has raised many beautiful figures from the past to the present. However, we have not taken sufficient steps in terms of promotion. We aim to promote Bitlis better to Turkey and the world with such organizations. There are magnificent values such as Lake Van in Tatvan, the pearl of the East, and the Seljuk Square Cemetery in Ahlat. Our districts are beautiful and their nature is perfect. .”

Istanbul University President Prof. Dr. Osman Bülent Zülfikar also said, “It is very important for students at our universities to see all four corners of the country and benefit from the natural and cultural riches here. Sharing these experiences with our students in other regions will make a great contribution to our country.”
