Meaningful March from the Free Aksa Trabzon Platform
The march, organized every Wednesday by the Free Aksa Trabzon Platform, started this week in front of the İskenderpaşa Mosque after the afternoon prayer. The participants marched while chanting slogans, holding Turkish and Palestinian flags in their hands.
The march continued to the front of Ziraat Bank on Kahramanmaraş Street. Speaking on behalf of the group, Sener Yigit, stated that they felt the deep pain of the inhumane genocide that has been going on in Gaza for the last 11 months. Emphasizing that the people of Gaza are not alone, Yiğit said the following:
- “Instead of talking about things we cannot do and things that are beyond our strength, we should support our brothers’ jihad by doing the best we can.”
- “We must put aside our differences of opinion. We must cover up our faults and see our beauties.”
- “We must seek ways to bring our hearts closer together and fight together, just like the people of Gaza.”
The march ended after prayers and the participants dispersed, once again expressing their support for the people of Gaza.
