IHH’s Support Activities in Gaza

Human Rights and Freedoms Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH), continues to increase its support activities for the people of Gaza following the attacks launched by Israel on October 7. The Foundation carries out various aid activities in order to extend a helping hand to the people in the region.

IHH provides hope to people in these difficult days by distributing hot meals to approximately 35,000 people every day in Gaza. It also provides assistance in many areas such as food, shelter, hygiene and health. Here are the details of the aid provided by IHH since October 7:

IHH purchased 12 ambulances to support health services in Gaza. Nine of these ambulances were delivered to Gaza through AFAD, while three ambulances are waiting to go to the region in the Arish Port of Egypt. In addition, the foundation provided 1,300 first aid kits, 63,743 patient and baby diapers, 10,080 packages of baby food, vegetables for 11,311 families, 8,568 packages of dates, 340 medical products and 485 liters of fuel to those in need in the region.

In addition to 12 ambulances to be delivered to Gaza, IHH also provided 41 trucks of humanitarian aid to 3 aid ships and 1 aid plane organized by AFAD. Kuwait Society for ReliefA total of nearly 2,650 tons of supplies of various items were delivered to Gaza via humanitarian aid ships prepared in cooperation with the IHH. In addition, the Anadolu Ship, carrying nearly 2,500 tons of aid, arrived at the Rafah Border Gate.
