UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round Results
In the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, our representative Fenerbahçe faced the Swiss team Lugano. Winning the first match 2-1, Fenerbahçe managed to advance to the next round by achieving a 2-1 victory in the return match.
Another representative of ours, Trabzonspor, went into a rematch with Slovakia’s Ruzomberok team. After a 2-0 defeat in the first match, Fırtına defeated their opponent 1-0 with a goal scored by their new transfer Dragus and managed to advance to the next round of the UEFA Europa League.
Başakşehir, on the other hand, played a rematch against La Fiorita, which they had previously won 6-1 in the Conference League. Our representative won this match 4-0 and advanced to the next round. Thus, with all three of our representatives winning their matches both at home and away, Turkey’s score in the UEFA rankings also increased.
