Şefik Vural, a minibus driver in the Erzin district, was about to set off on a trip to Adana when he was confronted by a passenger who got on at the last minute. Vural, who asked for a fare from the passenger, was shocked by the response he received, “Take it”. Vural reacted to this situation by saying “no”. However, when he was faced with the passenger’s curses, tension started between them. Following the incident, a passenger named HT attacked Vural, biting and beating the minibus driver. Vural, whose ear was partially cut off during the struggle, was saved from the attacker’s hands by the intervention of his colleagues.
The attack on Vural was recorded on a security camera and the attacker was seen taking the money that fell into his pocket and running away. It was stated that Vural, whose ear could not be stitched up in the hospital, will have surgery in 10 days.
