Eid-al-Adha Visits Between Political Party Representatives Continue in Ankara
On the second day of Eid al-Adha, traditional holiday visits between political party representatives continued in Ankara. The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) delegation visited the Welfare Party again and congratulated them on the holiday and offered good wishes.
Heartfelt Eid Celebrations Between YRP and MHP
MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz, MHP Chairman Chief Advisor, MYK member Özgür Bayraktar, and MHP MYK member Emine Güven Öztürk visited YRP officials and celebrated their holidays. YRP member Aydal said, “The best part of the holiday is mutual visits. We cannot come together under normal conditions, it is very meaningful to come together on this occasion.”
Good Wishes from MHP’s Durmaz
The MHP delegation conveyed their greetings to YRP Chairman Fatih Erbakan and asked about the health status of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. Durmaz from MHP wished, “May God bring you many happy holidays with good health. May it not cause harm to our country, nation and state.”

To YRP’s Aydal’s humorous comment, “If Devlet Bey got married, he would take good care of his wife, but they didn’t…” MHP’s Durmaz replied, “Marriage is a matter of fate.” Aydal replied with a joke: “I was making a joke. They say that if a man is alive, it is because of his wife, but that is not true either. There are also those who collapse because of their wives.”

The sincere dialogues between representatives of both parties during the visit once again emphasized the importance of good intentions and tolerance. It has become clear once again that friendly relations are important as well as political competition.
