The increasing number of dead fish on the surface of the Porsuk Stream, which is formed by the confluence of waters coming from the Aksu and Murat Mountains, flows through the Kütahya Plain and flows into the Sakarya River via Eskişehir, continues to worry the local people .

Şeref Özsüngü, who comes to fish in the Porsuk River in his spare time, stated that he has frequently encountered dead fish in the last two weeks and explained the situation as follows:
“I usually come here to rest and fish. There has been a serious increase in fish deaths lately. I see many dead fish, especially on the Kentpark side. The reason for this situation may be the decrease in the oxygen level of the water and the insufficient flow of the water. I have even seen fish. When the water level drops, there is no flow and the algae increases, oxygen decreases. “That cannot get oxygen start to die. Such situations may be normal in this season. However, I think precautions should be taken.”
Özsüngü also drew attention to environmental cleanliness, emphasizing that young people not leaving picnic areas clean also harmed the environment. He stated that garbage should be disposed of correctly and the environment should be protected.
