Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accepted an invitation from Republican and Democratic leaders to speak at the US Congress as a guest of honor. He was greeted with an applause as he entered the congress hall.
His first words were ‘Iran’:Starting his speech by emphasizing Iran, Netanyahu said, “Iran’s terrorism is a threat to us” and claimed that the anti-war demonstrations in his country were funded by Iran.
Thanks to Biden, a Genocide Supporter:Netanyahu thanked US President Joe Biden for his support for the genocide.
He Applauded His Soldiers Who Committed Massacres: Netanyahu also applauded Israeli soldiers who have killed more than 38,000 Palestinians, including 13,000 children, in their attacks on Gaza. There were divided reactions among members of Congress.
Applause Inside, Protest Outside:Ahead of Netanyahu’s speech, Palestinian supporters protested, holding signs and banners denouncing the prime minister and opposing the war.
