Hundreds of prosecutors gathered in front of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s hotel as he arrived in Washington to address the US Congress, condemning him and the Israeli government’s attacks on Gaza, according to images shared on social media.
Police increased security measures after protesters gathered in front of the hotel. Some demonstrators carried Palestinian flags, while another group projected laser lights onto the building’s wall, projecting the message “Wanted. Arrest war criminal Netanyahu.”
The protest, which took place ahead of Netanyahu’s speech to Congress today, reflects the tensions created by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
