Kosovo International Maarif Schools achieved great success at the grand final of the International STEM Olympiad held in The Hague. The school students achieved great success by winning a total of 19 medals.
In the statement, it was stated that Ela Naz Yılmaz, who came first in the world in the science category, stood out and it was emphasized that the dedication and hard work of the students formed the basis of this success.
Mehmet Nedim Aslan, the Kosovo Country Representative of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, stated in his statement on the subject that he was proud of this important success achieved by the students in the international arena.
Aslan said, “Our students’ historic success by winning a total of 19 medals is a great source of pride not only for our school but also for Kosovo. This success not only shows our students’ competence in science and technology, but also indicates that “They will grow up to be leaders in the future.”
In the grand final of the International STEM Olympics, there was a great competition in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, where approximately 600 students from 117 countries competed. While the competition was held in The Hague, the students of Kosovo International Maarif Schools displayed a great performance and returned to their country with a large holding.
Kosovo International Maarif Schools started its educational activities in 2017 and provides education to more than 750 students in its Pristina and Prizren branches.
