Sunghay, who visited Gaza, stated that the situation in the region was extremely bad. Sunghay, who emphasized that the people of Gaza were suffering greatly, said that people had lost everything, including their homes. He said that most of the people who went in horse-drawn carriages with white flags were left homeless due to Israeli bombardment and had difficulty meeting their daily needs.
Sunghay, who stated that people living in makeshift shelters were using plastic tents as their only means of protection, said that Israel’s efforts to maintain public order in Gaza were inadequate and that humanitarian aid intervention was becoming difficult. He also stressed that war and internal disorder were causing “the spread of anarchy.”
Sunghay said the violence must stop and a ceasefire must be achieved, adding that the reconstruction of Gaza must begin, the occupation must end, accountability must be ensured and a two-state solution must be achieved.
