On July 12, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) published its weekly money and banking statistics. According to the report, as of July 12, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $4 billion 614 million compared to the previous week, reaching $94 billion 345 million. According to data from the previous week, gross foreign exchange reserves were $89 billion 731 million.
On the other hand, the gold reserves of the Central Bank also increased. Gold reserves increased by $734 million from $58 billion 717 million to $59 billion 451 million.
- The increase in total reserves was remarkable. In the week of July 12, there was an increase of $5 billion 348 million compared to the previous week, and total reserves increased from $148 billion 448 million to $153 billion 796 million.
