Stray Dogs Attack Ramazan Kavak’s Flock of Sheep
While Ramazan Kavak was grazing his sheep on the land next to the solid waste facilities on the Seyitgazi highway, stray dogs attacked the flock. As a result of this attack, 7 sheep died and 10 sheep were injured.
Eskişehir Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams arrived at the scene upon receiving a report and began the necessary investigations into the dead animals. Ramazan Kavak stated that he loses 3-5 sheep every year due to stray dogs in the region, and said, “There are thousands of dogs here, but this time I lost 7 of my animals. Dogs eat 3-5 of my animals every year. They target those left behind in the herd. I have another wounded sheep, but I haven’t found it yet.”
