The terror state of Israel, which has carried out brutal massacres in Gaza, is now facing an outbreak of West Nile virus caused by mosquitoes. According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, the Ministry of Health reported that the number of deaths due to West Nile virus has increased by more than 70 percent in the last two days.
Unusual Cases Are Seen
The news, which stated that 31 people have lost their lives due to the virus since May, emphasized that “unusual cases continue” especially in the Tel Aviv area and Jerusalem. Experts could not clearly explain the reason for the increase in the number of cases, but they commented that this “may be due to higher than normal air temperatures at the beginning of the summer season.”
Spread by Mosquitoes
West Nile virus, transmitted by mosquitoes, was first detected in the West Nile region of Uganda in 1937 and is known to be a deadly disease.
