The Istanbul Foundations 1st Regional Directorate organized an unforgettable circumcision feast for the children of families that received dry food aid. 40 children and their families of 150 people attended the feast. The children were given circumcision clothes, sports shoes and bicycles as gifts. The detail that added color to the feast was the “From History to the Present” convoy in which both our local and national automobile TOGG and classic automobiles participated.
The celebration began with families meeting at the Eyüp Soup Kitchen. Then, the Foundation’s works and the Rahmi Koç Museum were visited. The children learned about historical and local vehicles here. The convoy’s next stop was the Eyüp Sultan Mosque and tomb. A spiritual atmosphere was created during the visits accompanied by prayers.
The children and their families later had dinner at the Eyüp Mihrişah Valide Sultan Soup Kitchen. A playground was set up in the garden of the soup kitchen and various gifts were given to the children. The children had a lot of fun at the event, which was enjoyed with the Clown and Hacivat Karagöz plays.
