Dumlu village is located in the foothills of Soğanlı Mountains in the north of Bayburt. The village, which attracts attention with its natural structure, unspoiled texture and authentic highland village culture, has a very important position in terms of tourism potential. Located 36 kilometers from Aydıntepe district and 44 kilometers from Bayburt city center, the village attracts tourists especially with its 3.5-kilometer distance to Derebaşı Curves.

Derebaşı Curves is known as one of the most dangerous roads in the world, and the proximity of Dumlu village to this point increases its tourism potential. The village, which needs to be included in the list of the best tourism villages determined every year by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, is being developed in line with the sustainable development goals of rural tourism.
