President Erdoğan Holds Important Talks at NATO Summit
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit held in Washington DC, the capital of the USA, and held important meetings. Arriving at the Walter E. Congress Center in the morning hours, Erdoğan attended the Allied and Partner Heads of State and Government Meeting.
Meeting with Zelenskyy on Ukraine-Russia War
President Erdoğan met with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy as part of the summit and discussed the Ukraine-Russia war and regional issues. During the meeting, Erdoğan stated that Turkey was making efforts for just peace and that efforts were being made to revive the Black Sea Grain Initiative. He also emphasized that Turkey was ready for initiatives such as mediation to support peace.
Erdogan-Macron Meeting
President Erdoğan also met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Washington. Bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed during the meeting. Erdoğan and Macron held a detailed meeting and discussed the NATO Summit as well as bilateral cooperation issues.
