In a video statement on his social media account, Gıryani stated that there were people dying of hunger, thirst and lack of medicine in Gaza, and emphasized that Islamic countries should review their diplomatic, political and economic relations with the countries that enforce the blockade imposed on Gaza.
Addressing the leaders of Islamic countries who bear responsibility for the blockade imposed on Gaza by the US and its allies, Gıryani said, “The responsibility for every Muslim who loses his life from hunger and thirst in Gaza lies on the shoulders of the administrators of Islamic countries.”
Gıryani also called on scholars and fatwa committees in Islamic countries to draw attention to the difficulties experienced by Muslims in Gaza and to remind the leaders of their countries of their responsibilities in this regard.
