The ‘Sarıkız’ spider, one of Çorum’s rare spider species, appeared again in a business in Sungurlu district. This spider species stands out because it is poisonous and can hunt scorpions.
A citizen discovered a different type of spider in a business on the Ankara-Samsun highway. As a result of the research, it was determined that this spider was the carnivorous ‘yellow girl spider’, commonly known as the ‘meat-eating spider’.
The yellow spider is a large spider species that can reach up to 13 centimeters and jump up to 1 meter. It is known that this poisonous spider has poison strong enough to kill humans. In addition, it is known that the spider consumes creatures such as scorpions, lizards and even mice among its feeding habits.
