Three Turkish businessmen, representing the entrepreneurial spirit of our country, climbed Uhuru Hill, the peak of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, and proudly waved the Turkish and Palestinian flags in support of Palestine.
Businessmen Ömer Lütfi Soylu, Osman Nuri Önügören and Fatih Akaydın took a brave step to draw attention to the oppression and genocide in Palestine. The team, who reached the summit of Kilimanjaro, which is 5,895 meters high, by challenging the difficult route and high altitudes, displayed a great example of solidarity.
Ömer Lütfi Soylu, while explaining the difficult process they experienced, stated that the journey to the summit was not easy at all. The team reached the base camp after a tiring 43-kilometer climb and completed their preparations for the summit.
The businessmen, who did not give up despite the cold and windy weather conditions they encountered on the summit day, reached Uhuru Hill by advancing on a 12-kilometer steep and difficult route. Soylu clearly expressed his support for the Palestinian people by unfurling the Turkish and Palestinian flags at the summit.
This special and meaningful summit experience not only represented reaching the top of a mountain, but also the highest spirit of humanity and cooperation at its point.
