In the sad incident that took place in Ankara, Tunahan Yılmaz, a 4th grade primary school student, was seriously injured after being attacked by stray dogs. Following the incident, Tunahan underwent a skin transplant in a successful operation performed by Hacettepe University Medical Faculty Hospital.
Tunahan was attacked by stray dogs and seriously injured while he was going to school from his home in Keçiören district on December 7, 2023. After a long treatment process, skin transplantation was performed on little Tunahan in a difficult operation that lasted approximately 12 hours.
Father Halil Yılmaz expressed his gratitude to the doctors and staff of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Hospital and stated that Tunahan’s health condition was good after the operation. Yılmaz stated that Tunahan’s psychology was seriously affected and the family tried to be strong during this process.
