The Traditional Muğla Wedding Food Festival, organized by the Slow Food Muğla Community, will take place in the Arasta Region of Menteşe, the central district of Muğla, on Saturday, June 29. This special event will be held for the third time following many organizations that add value to Muğla.
Three internationally renowned names will attend the festival: Claude Pohlig (Belgian, 1996 Michelin Star winner, Masterchef), Cristian Borchi (Italian, Cooks’ Alliance member) and Sahrap Soysal (Turkish food expert and writer). Slow Food Muğla World Market Spokesperson Gürkan Tetik stated that they believe in their goal of making the Menteşe district an important gastronomy center as well as culture and art. He emphasized that in order to achieve this goal, they aim to protect urban protected areas, preserve local values and instill this awareness in children.
Stating that they would be honored to see the people of Muğla among them at the 3rd Traditional Muğla Wedding Food Festival, which will be held on Saturday, June 29, Tetik invited everyone to this special event.
