Traffic Inspections Continue in Kırıkkale, the “Key Junction” on the Transition Route of 43 Provinces
Kırıkkale is an important point through which the transit route of 43 provinces passes. Within the scope of the “2024 Eid al-Adha traffic measures” circular of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, traffic inspections are continuing uninterruptedly in Kırıkkale.
Inspections carried out in the city continue on a 24-hour basis. Provincial Police Department and Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams carry out General Information Screening (GBT) checks of drivers and passengers traveling in vehicles at designated application points and examine vehicle documents.
Police teams working at the application point on the Ankara-Kırıkkale D200 highway in the Yahşihan district are searching passenger buses in particular. During searches conducted in the luggage compartments with the help of the narcotics dog “Adam”, items such as suitcases, bags and parcels are meticulously checked.
Bus driver İbrahim Gürses stated that the inspections are carried out intensively on the highways and said, “ID checks and luggage searches are carried out. We have not encountered any negative situations so far, which makes us happy.”
