CHP Eskişehir Deputy Utku Çakırözer stated that although the Kırka-Seyitgazi-Afyonkarahisar highway, which is one of the places where fatal traffic accidents occur most in Eskişehir, was promised to be expanded by the AKP before the elections, this promise was forgotten. Çakırözer said the following in his statement as a result of the investigations carried out in the region:

After his inspections in the region, Utku Çakırözer drew attention to the inadequacy of road construction works. Stating that there are only two trucks and a digger in the construction site, Çakırözer pointed out that this situation will take many years for road construction. Çakırözer stated that although there were openings and promises made in the region before the election, there is no work now.
Call and Request
Çakırözer called on the General Directorate of Highways and the Ministry of Transport Infrastructure and asked for the road construction works to be accelerated. Emphasizing that the necessary tools and equipment for the construction of the road should be brought to the region, Çakırözer stated that the people of Eskişehir should not be kept away from the truth.
Reacting to the failure to fulfill the promises made before the local elections, Çakırözer said that citizens should not be victimized.
