An emotional rescue operation took place in Düden Waterfall, a district of Antalya famous for its touristic and natural beauties. Coast Guard teams quickly took action after a stray dog fell into the sea and became stranded.
In the incident that took place in the impressive view of Düden Waterfall meeting the sea, Coast Guard Antalya Group Command teams noticed the dog desperately trying to swim on the rocks and intervened immediately.
The teams hugged the dog, which was stranded under the rocks, and took it into their boat. The dog, which was determined to be in good health, was handed over to the authorities of Muratpaşa Municipality Street Animals Temporary Care and Rehabilitation Center.
This sensitive and successful rescue operation was an indication of the importance given to homeless animals and the sensitivity of the Coast Guard teams. The Coast Guard stated that it will continue its work to protect wildlife and ensure animal welfare.
