In Afyonkarahisar’s Bolvadin district, Gendarmerie teams carried out inspections on holidaymakers who were on their way back after the Eid al-Adha holiday ended. Teams affiliated with the Bolvadin District Gendarmerie Command carried out a detailed inspection of the drivers.
The inspections were carried out with drone support, and it was meticulously checked whether the drivers obeyed the traffic rules, whether they used mobile phones while driving and whether they wore seat belts. At the same time, identity and document checks of the drivers in the stopped vehicles were also carried out completely.
While it was stated that the inspections would continue throughout the day, the teams took all necessary precautions to reduce traffic congestion and ensure the safety of drivers.
