Our Painful Loss in Deir Balah
A 7-year-old little boy living in Deir Balah, Palestine Lina Sheikh Khalil, passed away due to malnutrition and lack of medicine. This tragic event stands out as a reflection of the humanitarian crisis in the region and the difficult conditions that children are exposed to.
In an environment where even the most basic needs of children cannot be met, Lina’s loss has deeply affected families and society. While the family is going through the most difficult days of their lives, the difficulties experienced in obtaining the medicines necessary for Lina’s health have once again shown that such losses must be prevented.
