One of the Palestinian Children Evacuated from Gaza Was Martyred Along the Way
A 6-month-old baby, who was among 16 injured Palestinian children evacuated from Gaza and sent from Cairo to Bologna yesterday, died on the way to the Niguarda hospital in Milan, according to the Italian ANSA agency.
The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday that Palestinian children evacuated from Gaza have reached Italy as a result of cooperation with Egypt. It was stated that during this process, action was taken to urgently treat children who are in particular need of medical assistance.
Since last fall, the country has evacuated more than 300 Palestinians from Gaza, including relatives of Italian citizens and children in need of medical assistance, and brought them to Italy for treatment, marking a significant humanitarian initiative in the international community.
