While working in a textile factory, a female worker, whose name has not yet been learned, had her arm stuck in a printing machine. Following the incident, fire, health and police teams were quickly dispatched to the scene. After a meticulous effort that lasted approximately 1 hour, the fire crews were able to remove the worker’s arm from the machine. Unfortunately, however, the worker’s hand could not be saved and had to be left at the scene.
Health teams provided first aid at the scene and transported the worker to Kartal Dr. Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital by ambulance. No detailed information has yet been provided about the condition of the worker who is being treated at the hospital. Police teams are continuing their investigation into the incident.
