Murder Incident in Elazig
In the incident that took place on June 22 in Elazığ, Yüsra Binnaz Çimtay (27) lost her life after being attacked by her ex-husband Enes Eyüp Koca.
In the incident that took place in the Aksaray Neighborhood on June 22, Enes Eyüp Koca went to the house where his ex-wife Yüsra Binnaz Çimtay lived and started an argument. During the argument, Koca stabbed Çimtay 10 times with the knife he had brought with him.
Following the incident, health and police teams were dispatched, and Yüsra Binnaz Çimtay was taken to Fırat University Hospital for treatment. However, despite all interventions, Çimtay lost her life after a 9-day battle for life.
Enes Eyüp Koca was detained by police teams and referred to judicial authorities. The husband was arrested by the court and sent to prison.
While the investigation into the details of the incident continues, the lifeless body of Yüsra Binnaz Çimtay was taken to the morgue for autopsy.
