Genocide Warning from Altun in Gaza
Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun shared an important post about the Israeli attacks in Gaza on his social media account with the tag “Genocide is on its 333rd day”. Altun said, “Do not remain silent for Gaza. Because one of the darkest periods of humanity is going on in Gaza. The attacks that have been going on for 333 days have destroyed the cities.” He criticized the situation using the following expressions.
Altun stated that the occupying Israeli forces bombed mosques, churches, schools and hospitals without any humanitarian discrimination. He also emphasized that journalists working to document the severe human tragedy in the region are being deliberately and systematically targeted. This situation shows that a crime against humanity is being committed that will cause great concern throughout the world.
Stating that children, women, elderly people and innocent civilians in Gaza do not have access to clean water, food and health services, Altun continued as follows:
- Gazans are being subjected to genocide before the eyes of the world.
- This genocide should shake the conscience not only of Gaza but of all humanity.
- The international community must unite and react against this barbarism that has been going on for 333 days.
Altun stated that we must all work together to stop this tragedy and ensure the safety of children. He emphasized that ignoring the situation in Gaza means participation in this oppression. “In the name of justice and humanity, we must raise our voices strongly to end this genocide.” He called on the international community to take action.
In his post, Altun included President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s words about the human tragedy in Gaza and visuals revealing the tragedy of children in Gaza, and stated that awareness on this issue should be raised.
