Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and TRNC President Ersin Tatar met in Shusha, Azerbaijan, within the scope of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT) Heads of State Informal Summit. Following the meeting, Yilmaz shared the following on his social media account:
- “I was pleased to meet with the President of the TRNC, Mr. Ersin Tatar, in Shusha, within the scope of the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.”
- “It is very important that our Turkish Cypriot brothers, who constitute an inseparable part of the Turkish world, are represented here today by Mr. Tatar. As we have always stated, we, as Turkey, will continue to do our best on every platform so that the TRNC reaches a prosperous future. I would like to thank Mr. Tatar and take this opportunity to convey my love to my Turkish Cypriot brothers.”
