The Egyptian television channel “Al-Cairo al-Ihbariyah” reported, citing high-level sources, that a US delegation has arrived in Cairo for ceasefire negotiations in Gaza. The US delegation, headed by William Burns, will meet with the Egyptian security team and begin preparations for new ceasefire negotiations.

Egyptian and Israeli Delegations Continue Preparations for Talks
While the Egyptian delegation was working hard to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza, the Israeli negotiating team led by Ronen Bar, Director of the Israeli Internal Intelligence Agency Shin-Bet, went to Egypt for talks on the prisoner exchange and the management of the Rafah Border Crossing.
