UNRWA’s official Twitter account drew attention to the negative effects of Israel’s attacks on Gaza on students’ education. The statement noted that approximately 300,000 UNRWA students in Gaza have not been able to go to school for 9 months and that UNRWA teams are trying to support students in shelters and damaged buildings during this process.

UNRWA stressed that children in Gaza need a ceasefire and security as Israel’s attacks continue, and that they must return to school and continue their education.
