Statement of the Ministry of National Defense
In the latest statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, it was stated that an important development was made on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan. In this context, it was stated that the TCG Kınalıada corvette belonging to the Turkish Naval Forces made a port visit in Alexandria, Egypt during its return journey from Japan.
The statement also said, August 20, 2024It was emphasized that transition training was carried out with the Egyptian Navy’s AL FATEH corvette on. It was stated that these trainings were organized with the aim of strengthening the military cooperation between the two countries and increasing maritime security.
It was stated that such events demonstrate Turkey’s determination in security and cooperation in the international arena and also contribute to the strengthening of relations with friendly countries.
