The plan followed by a 26-year-old Turkish young man named Emir to take revenge on his ex-girlfriend created an earthquake effect in Thailand. The incident, which was revealed as a result of a tip-off to the police, was determined to have taken his ex-girlfriend’s mobile phone and escaped in the parking lot of a shopping mall in the center of Bangkok.
Emir’s revenge did not end there. The young man shared private photos of the woman on social media in order to embarrass her. In the investigation launched after the incident, it was revealed that Emir had previously entered and exited Thailand 14 times.
Police charged Emir with theft, unauthorized access to a protected computer system, unauthorized access to protected computer data and disseminating obscene computer data.
